For our April meeting, we will have a special guest speaker. Scott Hedberg, AD7MI, has recently returned from Iraq where during his twelve-month deployment he operated a MARS station and ham bands. He will be giving a twenty-minute presentation on his operating experiences in Iraq as well as a brief history of US solders operating amateur radio and MARS while deployed. Please join us! The April club meeting will be in the main hospital building in the training room on the second floor to accommodate larger than usual attendance. Enter through the main entrance on the south side of the hospital and use the elevator to the immediate right to get to the second floor. From there, further guidance will be provided by club members. The Blue Springs Amateur Radio Club meets on the second Thursday of every month. From 7 Highway, head east on NW Mock Ave. Turn right on the last entry into before you completely pass St. Mary's (on the right). If you have passed the sports building or Wal-Mart, you have gone too far. If you get lost, someone will be monitoring the BSARC's 2m and 70cm repeaters. |
