Our Repeaters

Our club currently operates two repeaters under our club call sign, KB0VBN. Our repeaters are open to the public, however both use PL tones to limit inter-modulation and other interference issues. Both repeaters have access codes which are used to access some of the functions made available by the repeater controllers. The repeaters are commercial grade and provide excellent coverage of the Eastern Jackson County area.

Our 2m repeater currently is located on a tower near central Blue Springs, while our 70cm repeater is located on one of the water towers in the south-eastern quadrant of the city.

Repeater Details:

147.015+ PL 151.4

444.950+ PL 107.2

Both repeaters have almost identical access code functions, but our 440 machine is the workhorse with the ability to link to virtually every KC metro area repeater. These codes are restricted to members only. This in no way is meant to discourage use of the repeaters; they are truly open to all licensed amateurs.
